However, I couldn't have been more pleasently surprised by the quality of the bedding. 13 pieces for this price and expecting it to be good quality would be ridiculous. So I was very surprised to see how much more beautiful the colors are in person and that the bedding itself is just as good as the stuff you'd find in a Babies R' Us, Wal-Mart, or Target even. Yes, there's a few dangling strings that can be easily snipped off without damaging the integrity of the bedding. I haven't washed it yet, but just eyeing it I can say the fabric should hold up well to a washing. This is not my first child and I've come across cheap stuff before, this is not that. The set is quite lovely. The material is soft and set in soft tones - light blue, sea foam green, and a sort of the yellow-pea color, with pops of red thrown in. Had no problem with having to trim pieces off as I had read from other reviewers. The material is definitely not the highest quality, but as the set will only need to last through infant and early toddler years, I am not worried. It will need to be ironed, but looks like it will take an iron well. The three wall hangings are adorable, and will tie for whatever height is desired, as will the toy hanger. The bumper is actually surprisingly sturdy with many ties. The sheet I have not put on the mattress, so I am unsure of the fit.
